Art Hatfield-Mihelic
Art Hatfield-Mihelic, a Sr. Technical Consultant with Vanguard, functions as a consultant, instructor, course developer and sales support engineer. With over 45 years of information systems experience, he has worked in a variety of industries, including government, transportation, banking, energy and finance. Art has experience in computer operations, application and systems programming in both technical and management capacities. His technical expertise includes z/OS operation system planning, installation and maintenance; IBM and non-IBM program products planning, installation and maintenance; hardware configuration planning, installation and maintenance.
Art’s many accomplishments include: RACF Security Implementations for SDSF, CA-1, and other program products, Multiple Top Secret to RACF migrations, RACF assessments, and RACF database merges. He has worked in Information Security Technical consulting in Asia, South Africa, Europe, Australia, South America, and North America, and has provided RACF Training for Security Administrators, Auditors, and Systems Programmers for several organizations migrating from both ACF2 and Top Secret to RACF. In addition, Art has made numerous presentations on Information Security in Asia, South Africa, Europe, Australia, South America and North America, and served as a keynote speaker at conferences in Japan, North America, Australia, and Europe.
