
Account Manager
BASIC PURPOSE
The Account Manager works as a member of the sales team tasked with the care of our existing customer base, and with creating opportunities for additional product sales, training sales and professional services sales within our customer base.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sell software products, training and professional services to current customers.
- Keep up to date records in Goldmine CRM System Maintains sales records through the use of Goldmine and prepares sales reports as required.
- Remain knowledgeable of company’s product/services to facilitate sales efforts.
- Participate in customer/user training and other sales related seminars.
- Maintain positive customer relationships and strive to maximize product/services satisfaction.
- Manage sales cycle with accounts.
- Maintain relationships with current customers and services accounts.
- Special projects as required.
- Prepare monthly forecast.
- Works as part of a team and effectively participates in peer level coaching.
- Acquire and maintain knowledge of all available internal resources.
- Effectively utilizes all company internal resources as appropriate.
- Participates in periodic account reviews with sales management.
- Maintains daily call metrics as required (min. 3 hrs per day).
- Prepares customer quotes.
- Maintains quota requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Industry
- Knowledge of computer software, software hardware, telecommunications or high-tech sector. Software knowledge is a plus.
Communication
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent telephone and communication skills.
- A CRM Veteran (have used Goldmine CRM or similar product).
- Type min. 35 WPM.
- High energy and self motivated.
- Ability to work independently and be productive.
Presentation
- Strong selling skills.
- Account management skills.
- PC literacy.
- CRM System knowledge.
Environment
- Fast pace, entrepreneurial.
- Work in team environment.
- Casual Professional Attire
- Highly monitored.
- Work hours: 7am-4pm.
Location
- This position is located in our Las Vegas Corporate office (New office complex near Sunset park)
Education & Life Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in business, marketing or sales.
- Outbound telephone selling experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to speak clear and concise English.
