Jim McNeill
Jim McNeill has more than 40 years of experience in the Information Technology and Systems Programming arena. Prior to joining Vanguard, Jim spent 20 years with US West in the Systems Support group. His experience ranges from Computer Operations to Director of Hardware and Software Support, working with large mainframe data centers. Jim’s early experience at Vanguard includes working 10 years in Vanguard’s research and development labs where he was responsible for the first three releases of Vanguard Administrator. He also served as the Lead Architect and Team Leader for the Advisor and Analyzer products and served as the Director of Research and Development.
While a member of Vanguard’s Professional Services team, Jim's experience includes performing multiple large ACF2 and Top Secret to RACF migrations for Fortune 500 companies and utilizing expertise in assembler language to code User Exits and convert ACF2 calls to RACROUTE calls for RACF. Jim's certifications include: Certified IBM ACF2/Top Secret to RACF migration Engineer, Certified IBM RACF Instructor, Certified Vanguard Product Instructor.
