Ronn H. Bailey
Founder, CEO and CTO

Ronn Bailey is founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer of Vanguard Integrity Professionals. He has been a leader in information security technology for over three decades, and has worked closely with governmental agencies and the world's Fortune 1000 companies to identify, clarify, and resolve continually evolving issues related to computer system security, controls, audits and privacy. He is an inventor and holds several security related patents.

Mr. Bailey was co-founder of the first IBM Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) security user group and assisted in the establishment of numerous other RACF User groups in the United States, Australia and Canada. He is a past president and honorary member of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), which is a non-profit association comprising security officers, managers and higher-level executives. Over the years he has been an active member and leader in many other organizations such as SHARE, GUIDE, EDPAA, CACS, MIS, CSI, TEC and others.

Barry Schrager
Chief Security Architect

Barry has more than three decades of experience securing large complex computing environments and designing next generation security architectures.

In 1978, he formed SKK Inc. to develop ACF2, the world’s first commercially successful mainframe security system. Under Barry’s leadership, SKK also developed ACF2/VM, ACF2/VSE and the first operating system auditing product, Examine/MVS (now known as CA-Audit). For the last twenty years, Barry has worked with several security software companies building advanced security systems. Most recently, he was vice president of product development at JME Software.

Barry earned a BS in Physics from the University of Illinois and an MS in Applied Mathematics from Northwestern University.

Eldon Worley
Sr. Product Architect - Vanguard Enforcer

Eldon is a member of the Mainframe Executive Hall of Fame. He is responsible for directing the Vanguard Enforcer product development and architecture. Eldon directed the Vanguard Enforcer product alterations necessary to achieve the EAL3+ evaluation.

Eldon was previously at the Almaden IBM Research Laboratory where he was involved in the original development of the RACF product and then following in further development of RACF including several releases of the product. During this time, Eldon spent two temporary assignments in England, one at IBM Hursley and the second at Cambridge University still involved with RACF and its future. Eldon was also a member of the IBM Security Architecture Board.

Eldon contributed to the RACF releases that contained the original release code, password enhancements, Global access, RACF address space and the RACF Remote Sharing enhancement. In addition to these enhancements, while at IBM, Eldon was continually involved with the RACF product review process of the various RACF releases and enhancements including the Generic profiles and B1 Security enhancements.

Brian Marshall
Director of Product Development & Delivery

Brian joined Vanguard after serving 11 years at Computer Associates and Innovative DP Designs, Inc (purchased by CA in 1999) in various software development and management capacities. During his IT career, Brian has been involved in and managed Developers, Quality Assurance, Technical Support and Technical Writers. More recently at CA, Brian was the Director of IMS Product Development responsible for the development of leading edge IMS database utilities. Brian is named on two patents pending and holds one patent (shared) on a method of reorganizing IMS databases online. Brian also spent the last 11 years as an Adjunct Faculty Member teaching college level computer science courses at Solano College.

Brian holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and a Masters Degree in Business Administration both from Sonoma State University.
