Basic Purpose

Vanguard Integrity Professionals has a unique IT position available for a Network Administrator I. The successful incumbent will be joining our highly qualified team of professionals to maintain our company’s IT network, servers and security systems.

Duties

During your role as Network Administrator I, you will be responsible for the following:

• Priority focus is on networks consisting of routers, firewalls, VPN’s, etc.
• Manage ticket queues and meet departmental priorities.
• Assist internal and external customers to resolve issues with software and hardware.
• Oversee our organization’s computer systems.
• Manage IT systems.
• Maintain information systems and networks.
• Upgrade and install new hardware and software.
• Perform troubleshooting techniques as needed.
• Assist with software and hardware maintained by the IT department.

Qualifications & Educational Requirements

Required Skills:

• In-depth knowledge and experience with secure network configuration, design upgrades and project maintenance.
• Backup and disaster recovery administration.
• Minimum 4 years administering Cisco ASA firewalls.
• Microsoft SharePoint 2019.
• Cisco Routing, Switching, VOIP, NAC.
• Cisco CUCM system administration.
• Experience managing and configuring Load Balancing technologies.
• Experience with CRM and Business Accounting software.

Preferred Skills:

• VMWare vCenter administration, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Helpdesk for internal customers.
• Surveillance management with SOC.
• Linux administration and configuration (Ubuntu, RHEL, SUSE, Fedora).
• Coordinate change requests with managers and end users.
• Install and configure new services.
• Work independently on projects.
• User and Computer Administration using Active Directory GPO Management a plus.
• Advanced skills using Active Directory.
• Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019 Mailbox, DL, creation and administration.
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012 + administration, upgrades, migrations.
• Exceptional Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn on the job.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to analyze and articulate and implement solutions.

Education and Training:

• Minimum 5 years of professional work experience.
• Minimum Associates Degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or other IT related field of study.
• Minimum 2 years of experience using VMWare in an enterprise environment.
