Basic Purpose

Vanguard Integrity Professionals has a unique position available for an experienced Technical Software Project Manager.  The successful incumbent will be joining our highly qualified team of professionals to create, guide and maintain software development projects from inception to completion.

Role and Responsibilities

The Technical Software Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all project timelines from start to finish. The role ensures all projects meet required deadlines while communicating project status including fall shorts and documentation as required. The Technical Project Manager must be detail-oriented, have excellent technical knowledge, and able to work effectively with developers and the Director of R&D to achieve the corporate and department objectives. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the R&D teams, product designers, and project managers to acquire project detail information to create project plan, benchmarks and delivery dates.
  • Produce and maintain progress reporting for all projects.
  • Identify the resources needed for projects. Report any shortfalls.
  • Be aware of potential business issues as they impact overall project plans.
  • Work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Drive continual improvement to meet project timeline.
  • Oversee the implementation of project improvements.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Must be willing to work in the Las Vegas office. This is NOT a remote position.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Software Project Manager.
  • 3 years experience in Software Project Management or a similar role, preferably in a technical environment.
  • Track record of past technical subject matter experience.
  • Experience in a high volume, fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Be an excellent creative problem solver with sound strategic judgment.
  • Effectively work with and communicate across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to organize and manage own time and project schedules effectively.
  • Mastery of the English language, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent working knowledge of PC and Project Management software.
